You’ve probably been there… Your son’s grade 3 teacher tells you he has some kind of a learning disability that she does not clearly understand, but is apparent on a daily basis in the classroom. He is falling behind and becoming very frustrated at school. God’s timing is everything, because that was when we met Marg Riemersma.
With her learning assessments and providing him with a personal learning plan, Jordan has never turned back. A graduate of Loyalist College in Advanced Business and Griffith University with a Bachelor of Business, he is now Store Manager of a Edmonton No Frills.
Marg has been our angel. Our family truly believes that Jordan would be a different person today had it not been for her expertise and help! Marg has provided us with Joy in this Journey.

Marg Riemersma is a genuinely friendly and approachable person with a sincere interest in her students. She starts with a full assessment of each student, identifying not only their needs but their strengths as well. After potentially years of struggling in the classroom, identifying a student’s strengths is key to building the individual’s belief that they are learners; learners that may learn differently from the mainstream of students or learners that need different tools in their learning plan, but learners nonetheless.
Obtaining assessment results is an important step, but the next step can be even more so. Now what? What do the results mean and what can be done to assist this student? Again, Marg’s professional training and skills are evident as she is able to provide an individualized plan to support the student.
Assessment, Plan, Evaluation: a complete process that Marg successfully provides for each of her learners. Thank you Marg, for providing our child with the skills needed to successfully complete her secondary and post secondary education and building the confidence that she carries forward to a life of learning.

Marg Riemersma identified our two children’s learning disabilities. As a result they were able to complete high school in the academic stream. They each had unique learning disabilities that required specific teaching and learning strategies to enable them to gain their high school diploma and qualify for post-secondary education.
Marg’s testing identified exactly how each child learned and then translated this into a variety of effective teaching methods. The results were outstanding.
Thanks Marg!
